STEP-BY-STEP GUIDE TO INSTALL THE ST37 VIDEO REFEREE KIT AT A FENCING COMPETITION
Step 1. Material Location
Check or install power at the required points. The power outlet must be located on the
opposite side of the Score Machine, 4.5 m away from the nearest end of the lane. If connecting via Bluetooth, a power outlet will also be required at the same location as the Score Machine.

1.1 PC and Camera Tripod Location
1.1.1. They are located on the opposite side of the Score Machine, 4.5 m from the nearest
edge of the track.
1.1.2. The camera must have a minimum height of 2 m.

2.1. Assemble the tripod ensuring a minimum height of 2 m.
2.2. Position the camera and connect the Ethernet cable and HDMI cable.
2.3. Attach the grip and mini display to the tripod.

3. CAMERA TRIPOD LOCATION

3.1. Place it at the recording point, on the opposite side of the Score Machine, 4.5 m away
from the nearest edge of the track.
3.2. Ensure the camera is at a minimum height of 2 m.

4. PC LOCATION
4.1. Place the PC on a table next to the tripod.
5. POWER AND NETWORK CONNECTIONS

​5.1. Connect the following devices to the power source:
5.1.1. Router
5.1.2. Switch
5.1.3. Mini display charger
5.1.4. PC
5.2. Network connections:
5.2.1. Connect the internet provider cable to the router .
5.2.2. Connect an Ethernet cable from the router to the switch.
5.2.3. Connect an Ethernet cable from the camera to the switch.
5.2.4. Connect an Ethernet cable from the PC to the switch.
5.2.5. Connect an HDMI cable from the camera to the mini display.

6. CONNECTING TO THE SCORE MACHINE
There are two connection options. Follow the instructions for the option that corresponds to
your configuration.
Option 1: Wired System
1. Connect the DB9 cable to the Score Machine and run the other end of the cable to the
table where the PC is located, surrounding the track.
2. Connect this end of the cable to a DB9 to USB converter.
3. Connect the converter to your PC via USB. (To obtain the driver for this device, click

Installing Video Referee System
Option 2: Bluetooth System
1. Connect the Bluetooth device to the Score Machine.
2. Connect power to the Bluetooth device.
3. From your PC, connect to your Bluetooth device through the Bluetooth settings in your operating system.

7. FINAL VERIFICATION
Before continuing to use the system, ensure that:
7.1. All devices are properly connected and turned on.
7.2. The PC recognizes the camera and the connection system (wired or Bluetooth).
7.3. The mini display receives the video signal correctly.
7.4. The Score Machine is synchronized with the PC.
If there are any problems, check the connections and make sure the devices are configured correctly.
Final Verification of Video Referee System
With this installation, all that remains is to launch Skouting Video Replay and make the
relevant configurations.
After connecting your pc to your score machine (either by cable or Bluetooth) proceed to initialize the software.
